In this beginner friendly crochet class, makers will learn crochet basics such as how to hold a hook and yarn comfortably, how to slipknot, chain, single crochet, and finish off.
Makers will use these techniques to create a dishcloth. They will start the dishcloth in class or finish at home. The skills learned in this class can be used to make a wide variety of other items, such as hats, scarves, blankets, and even amigurumi. Feel free to bring your own snack and beverage.
About the Instructor: Ariel (owner and artist behind Ariel Kay Crochet) has been crocheting for over 20 years. She also enjoys other crafts such as scrapbooking, cross stitch, and sewing.
